Privacy Policy
DuckCurve is not open yet. Right now this website only lets you ask to be told when early access is available.
The short version. We collect your email address only so we can contact you about DuckCurve launch access. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we are
This site is operated by DuckCurve from Brisbane, Australia. For privacy requests, contact privacy [at] duckcurve.com.au.
What we collect
- The email address you enter in the early-access form.
- A short source label recording which page the request came from.
- The date and time you submitted it.
To protect the form from abuse, the capture service may store one-way hashed request metadata for rate limiting. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.
This coming-soon site uses no cookies, no analytics, and no third-party trackers.
Why we collect it
We use your email address to contact you about DuckCurve early access and launch updates. For EU and UK visitors, our legal basis is your consent, which you give by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time.
How we protect it
- Email addresses are encrypted before storage when the capture service accepts a submission.
- The public-facing server is designed to hold ciphertext at rest, not a plaintext list.
- Plaintext email addresses must not be written to application or server logs.
- If the secure capture endpoint is unavailable, the website does not pretend to save your address.
Who can access it
We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address. Infrastructure and email-delivery providers may process it only where needed to run the site or contact you about DuckCurve, and only on our instructions.
Retention
We keep waitlist records until we launch and contact you, or for 12 months, whichever comes first. You can ask us to delete your address at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your email address, or withdraw consent, by emailing privacy [at] duckcurve.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, contact us first. You may also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
